1. About this policy

This policy explains what personal information Yin and Yang Global collects through this website, why we collect it, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to change or remove it.

It covers this website, the enquiry and programme forms on it, and the free AI-Led Performance Diagnostic. It does not cover work carried out for clients under a separate engagement contract, which is governed by that contract.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by Yin and Yang Global Ventures Private Limited, a company registered in India with its registered office in Gurgaon, Haryana. The company was formerly named Ying and Yang Ventures Private Limited. We trade as Yin and Yang Global.

For anything in this policy, including requests about your information, write to info@yinandyangventures.com. That address is monitored by the Yin and Yang Global team. We have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer, and we do not claim to have one.

3. What we collect

When you contact us or ask about a programme

Our enquiry form asks for your name, company name, designation, country code and mobile number, corporate email address, the service or programme you are interested in, and an indication of annual turnover. Fields marked as required have to be completed for the form to send.

When you request a programme overview

Our Learning programme pages let you request a two-page programme overview. That form asks for your full name, work email, mobile number, company, designation, country and city, and records which programme and brochure you asked for.

When you use the AI-Led Performance Diagnostic

The diagnostic collects your name, designation, work email, mobile number, company name and website, and information about your organisation: industry, stage, primary market and annual revenue range, together with your answers about business functions, current maturity, priorities and the challenges you describe. It also stores the directional result generated from those answers. Section 4 explains this in more detail.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed and how you arrived. Where you reach us through a campaign link, we record the campaign parameters in that link and the page that referred you, so we understand which routes bring people to us.

The diagnostic records the IP address of the device used to submit it. We use this for security and abuse prevention.

What we ask you not to send

Please do not submit passwords, financial account details, personal information about your employees or customers, confidential client records, or other sensitive information through any form on this site. Our forms are not designed to receive that material, and we do not need it to answer you.

4. The AI-Led Performance Diagnostic

The diagnostic is a free, automated, directional preview. It is not a formal diagnostic, not an audit, and not professional advice. It gives preliminary observations based only on what you tell it in a short form. Our paid, consultant-led diagnostic work is a separate engagement carried out under a contract, and nothing on this website forms part of it.

When you submit the diagnostic, we use the information you provide to:

  • generate the directional result you asked for;
  • display that result to you and, where applicable, produce and send a report;
  • keep a record of the submission and the result;
  • respond to questions you raise about it;
  • contact you about the result, as described in section 6;
  • protect the tool against abuse and misuse;
  • understand in aggregate how the tool is used, and improve it using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.

The diagnostic uses a third-party artificial intelligence service to generate your result. The business information you enter and your answers to the diagnostic questions are sent to that provider’s API for processing, and the generated result is returned to us. That provider is Anthropic, whose systems are located outside India. We do not send your submission to any other AI provider.

We do not use your diagnostic answers to train any publicly available AI model.

5. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • send you the material or information you asked for;
  • generate and deliver diagnostic results and reports you request;
  • answer your enquiry and manage the conversation that follows;
  • discuss whether a programme or engagement is suitable for you or your team;
  • arrange, administer and deliver programmes you or your organisation book;
  • keep proper business records, including of the permissions that applied;
  • protect the website and our systems, and prevent spam, fraud and abuse;
  • understand in aggregate how the website is used so we can improve it;
  • meet obligations that apply to us under law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for other organisations’ independent marketing.

6. Information you asked for, and wider marketing

If you request a brochure, submit the diagnostic, or send an enquiry, we will send you what you asked for and may follow up about that specific request — for example, to ask whether the programme fits your team, or to offer a short conversation about your diagnostic result. That is reasonable follow-up on something you approached us about.

That is not the same as subscribing to general marketing. Requesting a brochure does not sign you up to newsletters, unrelated programme promotions, or a general mailing list. If we introduce wider marketing communications, we will ask for that separately and it will be optional.

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message or writing to info@yinandyangventures.com.

7. Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our business. They process information on our instructions, for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Website hosting. Our hosting provider stores the website and its database, including form submissions and diagnostic records.
  • Website software. The site runs on WordPress with a small set of plugins, including the form plugin that handles enquiry submissions, a security plugin, a performance plugin and a backup plugin.
  • Artificial intelligence processing. Anthropic, for generating diagnostic results as described in section 4.
  • Analytics. Google, through Google Analytics and Google’s tag service, as described in section 9. Our hosting provider also operates its own basic website analytics.
  • Email. Enquiry alerts, confirmations and diagnostic reports are sent by email from our website and business email systems.
  • Backups. Website backups, which contain the site database, are taken by a backup plugin and stored in the destination we have configured for it.

We do not list every technical component of the website here, and we do not publish security or infrastructure detail that would make the site easier to attack.

8. International transfers

We are based in India and most of the information we hold is processed here. Some of our service providers process information outside India — in particular the artificial intelligence service used by the diagnostic, and Google’s analytics services. This means information you submit may be processed in other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

We do not claim that all data is stored only in India, because that would not be accurate.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website sets a small number of cookies.

  • Necessary cookies. These keep the website working — for example, keeping you logged in if you have an account with us, and supporting security and performance features. The site does not function properly without them.
  • Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they arrived. These cookies are set when you visit and currently do not require an action from you. Our hosting provider also sets its own visit-measurement cookies.

We do not run advertising or marketing tracking pixels on this website. There is no Meta pixel, no advertising retargeting tag and no session-recording tool.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your use of the site.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. The website runs over HTTPS, access to the website’s administration is restricted to a small number of accounts, and we run a security plugin with firewall and malware scanning. Form submissions are stored in the website database rather than in shared inboxes alone.

We do not claim that our systems are certified to any external security standard, and we do not claim that any system is completely secure. No website can promise that.

11. How long we keep information

Our current retention position is:

  • Website enquiries and brochure requests that do not progress to a commercial conversation: kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Diagnostic submissions and results: kept for up to 24 months from submission, so that we can provide your result, follow up on it, answer questions about it and understand how the tool performs over time.
  • Active commercial conversations and client relationships: kept for as long as the relationship is live, and afterwards for the period we reasonably need for business and legal record-keeping.
  • Records of the permissions and notices that applied: kept for as long as we hold the related record, so we can show what you were told and what you agreed to.
  • Technical and security information, including IP addresses: kept only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 12.

12. Your rights and how to use them

Depending on where you live and which law applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and why;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need;
  • withdraw a permission you previously gave, where our use rests on that permission;
  • ask us to stop sending you marketing or follow-up messages;
  • raise a complaint about how we have handled your information, including with a data protection authority where one applies to you.

Not every right applies in every country, and some are limited where we have to keep records for legal or business reasons. We will tell you if that is the case.

To make any of these requests, write to info@yinandyangventures.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to check who you are before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

13. Children

This website and our current corporate Learning programmes are intended for business audiences and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, write to info@yinandyangventures.com and we will remove it.

14. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes. The version number and date at the top show the current version. Where a change materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to make that clear rather than relying on a silent update.
